Group Personal Insurance

Perguruan Seni Silat Sendeng Teratai (PSST) will be working with Great Eastern General Insurance Limited to introduce Group Personal Accident Insurance for selected registered members aged 3 to 30 years.

The proposed coverage applies while insured members participate in PSST-organised and authorised activities worldwide, including:

• Training sessions and practices

• Official functions

• Competitions organised or authorised by PSST

• Travel directly to and from these activities

Each insured member will receive the following coverage:

• Death and permanent disablement: Up to $10,000

• Medical expenses arising from an accident: Up to $1,000

• Medical expense deductible: $75 per person, per accident

Strains, overuse injuries and participation as a professional athlete in professional competitions are excluded. Coverage applies only to members whose particulars have been submitted to and accepted by the insurer.

The policy will initially cover 20 named members. Additional members may be added during the policy period at a premium of $40 before GST per person. No refund will be provided if an insured member is removed during the policy period.

This is a general summary of the proposed coverage. All coverage remains subject to the final policy’s terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations. PSST will provide a further update once the policy has been confirmed and commenced.
